I have to admit, this was one of the most challenging event to manage. While I was based in Bangkok I had to communicate with local hotel staff and people from the U.K., and Korea. Needless to say the language barrier was very high but we managed to make things happen for the participants.

It’s always best to be face to face with the people you are speaking to. But if you can’t because you just can’t then a live webcast is the next best thing. 

It’s amazing after working in the industry for over a decade, I find ex-colleagues, friends, and associates from pretty much all the sponsor booths here.

Pretty much the whole of Hong Kong’s press corp descended up on Exchange Square to cover the launch. CY Leung graced his presence as de facto support for opening up stock trade between investors in Hong Kong and Shenzhen.
